Rat Rack
Alright guys, I need some tips for my future rat rack.
1 - Should I keep one female per bin, or two?
2 - How big would you suggest each bin should be?
3 - Were do you buy your water bottles?
Any and all suggestions, pics, or ideas are welcome. This is going to be my first rack setup ever. Pretty excited
Someone keeps trying to access my accounts. Who are you? Just e-mail me, as that's clearly how you're finding me. Quit messing around.

Rats are very social. I'd go with two rather than one.
I use cement mixing tubs. Durable, not to tall, plenty of horizontal space.
Petco, or petsmart or any other online retailer i suppose. I wouldn't waste your money though. The amount of money and the time spent filling bottles is enough of a reason to jump right into an automatic watering system. If your going with a seven tub rack for instance at 6.99 a bottle for solid glass drippers is going to cost you close to if not way more than an auto system. go to www.reptilebasics.com or www.agselect.com for equipment.

In this rack I use to keep two females per tubs at all time and have the male rotating between the tubs

In this rack I keep 1.4

once the females are pregnant they go in this rack (1 female per tub)

2 - How big would you suggest each bin should be?
If you want to keep 2 females per tubs I would suggest jumbo cat litter pans http://www.amazon.com/Doskocil-Litte...ef=pd_sim_hg_3 (Best price and only $5 for shipping)
3 - Were do you buy your water bottles?
I don't anymore when I did I would by the spring loaded water bottles from petsmart
