You can get them for pretty cheap, and they have a thousand uses. Making snake decor is only one of them. -lol- Once it's dry, it's hard and smooth to the touch. You have to let it dry completely though because when they say "hot glue" they really mean it.
Oh! I already thought of that and put some hot glue over the staple just in case
