I have some that are in a rack and some that are in PVC cages with glass or plexiglas doors. The ones kept in cages can peek at me from the security of their hides when I enter the room and are more at ease with me. The ones kept in a rack always seem startled to some degree by me pulling out the tub, some more than others. That has been my experience. I don't have any glass aquariums. They would offer less privacy for the snake than a cage and would be harder to control the temperature and humidity. If you can afford a PVC cage instead of glass I would go that way although any of them will work for you.
