    Re: CSI: My Backyard

The outside puncture picture looks like it was done with a round rod or stick because of the stretching. once the whole was made they cut the inside plastic with a knife. Someone was in there cause it looks like that pine bail was ripped to see just what was inside. Do you live in a neighborhood? any stupid kids about? any family's kids or such? To me it doesn't look like an animal.. In fact I dont see how it could be with an stretched puncture whole on the outside like that and a cut inner plastic( it wasn't ripped or streched thats how i know it was cut) it appears the culprit was human. Why they poked a whole then cut the inside is kinda funky... stay safe! and I hope what ever did this doesn't come back!

    Re: CSI: My Backyard

Doesn't look like a bullet hole unless it was a slug from a twelve gauge. The circular indent on the out side of the shed looks about the same size as the indent in the pine bale. About the size of a broom handle. It almost looks as if someone slowly pushed the unknown item into the plastic on the outside until it finally popped through ripping the plastic on the inside and puncturing the bale of pine. Then after pulling it out they ripped it more on the out side and pushed in some of the insulation to try to see what was inside. That would explain why there is no insulation on the floor. It is not missing it is just pushed around a bit.

this is not a CSI: Anywhere scenario. There is no semen. should probably try NCIS, unless you find any remains... then call Bones. If you need a Lawyer, I'd recommend Denny Crane from Boston Legal, never loses.

I live in a very good neighbourhood (or so I thought). There are no kids around that would do something like this. If someone was inside, hence the bale rip, why wouldn't they steal any of the bikes?

I'll bet whatever it is will be stuck in the bag of shavings. I'd be too curious to wait to open it so . . . open it . . . open it.

    Re: CSI: My Backyard

I'm gonna guess curious kids. I think my instincts are on par with Royal Guardian. I immediately thought it looks like someone punched through the outside plastic and the insulation. I punched a hole in my bedroom wall when I was 16 and the hole looked just like that. I also agree that it looks like someone cut the inside plastic with a knife. Looking at the bale of pine, my first thought was also that someone tore it open to see what was inside. Maybe they thought you were growing and packaging pot in the greenhouse, and that's what they were looking for when they decided to enter and check the bags. When they didn't find what they were looking for, they left. They didn't want your bike, they wanted your stash...

Some people freeze their paintballs, which makes them hard (obviously) and they don't explode paint everywhere. I'd check to see if you can find anything in the greenhouse that isn't supposed to be there.
