Re: So, uh, I found a corn...
I agree that it appears to be a normal, wild snake. Please do ensure that it is healthy, research parks in your area, and find a nice place in which to release it. Grabbing animals from the wild, no matter how small, affects the ecosystem.

Releasing an animal into the wild in an area it was not from can have the same results putting the eco system out of balance.
In FL it is illegal to release an animal that has been in captivity for a certain period of time (which I can't remember at this point in time) for fear that they will have picked up something that could be distributed to the native population. FL is full of fun laws......

Re: So, uh, I found a corn...
Here's an actual Florida law:
372.265
1) It is unlawful to import for sale or use, or to release within this state, any species of the animal kingdom not indigenous to Florida without having obtained a permit to do so from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Corn snakes are indeed indigenous. If it is released with in a few miles of where it was found it would be well with in the range it could have traveled anyway. Your local Fish and Game office or Animal Control agency could also clarify these rules (and legal places to release wildlife) more accurately than anyone on a forum. I suggest contacting them.
