    This is what I use for my snakes but use the Corn Cobb bedding for rats

    So, is it okay to use one of these compressed aspen "bales" with snakes even though it isn't shredded as fine as typical aspen snake bedding?

    The "bales" of Harlen are shredded. Looks just like the zoo-med stuff. Only 1/4 the cost.
