On a positive note you no longer have to worry about the damage from your recent fender bender. The old "exit the freeway from the left lane manuver" is a common one in Detroit and is scary as can be when somebody does that in front of you. Cars can be replaced, you and Joel can't be. Roll with the punches.

Awwwww Geeeze, Heather! Bless your heart, that looks seriously scary! As so many others have expressed, I'm SO glad you and your friend weren't hurt badly. I can imagine that you still feel pretty skaken up by the whole thing. I know I'd probably be a basket case for a few days after something like that. Try to take it easy and try to keep life as relaxing and peaceful as you can for a few days.

Does look bad, but the windshield "starring" in this case was caused by the airbag deployment and not "the Joel" striking his head on the windshield.

The only advice I can give is if you are going to a chiropractor (sp?) don't stop until you get the insurance settlement.
