    Some new Bellies!

Earlier this year I had a small girl that I didn't think was going to go prove me wrong by laying three perfect eggs. Well those eggs hatched yesterday and I very pleased with the 2.1 Yellowbellies that hatched out. The odds are good and these are lookers too, which makes this "bonus" clutch that much more satisfying.

These two are of the female of the clutch, she has some great blushing coming through.

    A group shot

Here is half of my Daytona pick-up, a nice female woma. I did a trade for a pair of these and I couldn't be happier with them.

Daytona was a mess for me because I wasn't even close to 100%, but I still saw some amazing stuff like the emerald/amazon hybrid @ the chondro coalition booth. I also got a chance to meet Justin K, he is really cool, wish I could have talked longer but I didn't want him to think I was trying to infect him with the plague. Hopefully next year will be different and I can be more outgoing.

Thanks Drew! I have a couple more photos of the female, the male however won't sit still long enough to get a good shot.

I am going to try and get some good shots later and I will post them in the python section.

Thanks Diana, I looked at the photos you posted of the little one you got from BT quite a few times in anticipation of getting my pair. Now that woma is the defenition of SWEET! I have been wanting to get some womas since '92 when I bought my copy of the Reproductive Husbandry book with the woma hatchlings on the cover. Getting this pair was a REALLY big deal for me and now that I have my long awaited womas I look forward to attempting to breed them.

Thanks Jason, I am really happy with the yellowbellies I have hatched out this year. There has been some good variety between the clutches and I like to think that has something to do with the select females that I paired my YB male with.
Here is the mother of this clutch with her eggs.

As for the woma, well I am pretty stoked on her!

Thanks, and I agree it is the coolest thing to see a devoted mother with her eggs.

I love YBs and the Ivories and combos they make as well. I am really just an overall python junkie but womas are one of my favs. Took a while to getting around to getting a pair but it was worth the wait.

Thanks for the complement! Speaking of fires, I am doing a breeding loan with my buddy George and we are going to be trying for some Fireflys. Eventually I'd like to breed a male Firefly to some of the YB females I am holding back from this season as that should be a hot combo.

Here is the line up for the Firefly project.

Do you guys/gals think these look like some good potential Firefly makers?
