No..... , for our first non-snake reptile we chose the Veiled Cham. It was a very hard choice after holding this guy at the beginning of the show! The Chams are more for observing and we want to be sure we can devote more time to the Beardie when we add one to the zoo. He is a cutie tho isn't he??

I absolutely adore Beardies! They definintely do have personalities. All 3 of mine have different personalities. And they try to communicate with their keepers. I love my guys & would recommend one to anybody that is willing to take the time & effort to properly care for one.
I did pick up one finally! There was a local Pet Market that I stopped by Saturday a couple hours before they closed. A guy had a few tiny babies, so I made him a low offer for the most alert and active one. He likes to be held and eats fantastic. He loves the tiny crickets and silkworms so far. He is calm when held and spots food immediately and will eat the silkies from my fingers.
