The other night, I was browsing the pets section. I see this ad that says
"Female Boa wanted for Breeding"

So the poster goes on and on about how they lay upto 60 something eggs...

That breeding is very profitable

That he can sell the babies locally for about $300 each

So I emailed him and I said.

Umm.. you do realize that boas don't lay eggs right?
I gave him some links into boa care and to a couple forums. Never heard anything back though.

There was a lot more to the ad that I have since forgotten, but it gets worse from there.

Well that depends on which boa you're talking about. But no boa that I know of lays 60 eggs...
