    Re: New Slipknot Album

I was getting ready to make a topic about this. I love the new album. I have liked everything corey has done, I don't care what style he sings in because he is amazing in whichever singing style he decides to use on ANY album. All of the guys in the Knot are amazingly talented. I saw them at mayhem and even the secondary percussion is SPOT on. You would just think they would be banging around but they know their songs better than any live act today. PERIOD. Slipknot has alot left to bring to the table and this album blows me away. If you want nice hard tracks littleindiangirl try, Gematria, Sulfur, and This Cold Black.

    Re: New Slipknot Album

I've never been much of a Slipknot fan. In my world they have their moments, but not enough to justify buying it. Now if you'll excuse me I have a Cold Play / TOOL play list to listen to

Just not the same old Slipknot.
well if you want something a bit harder i HIGHLY recommend five finger death punch they RULE but i will admit the new slipknot c.d. is different but not necessarily bad

    Re: New Slipknot Album

i never was a slipknot fan untill i went to the subliminal verses tour, for lamb of god, and shadows fall, but i really got into them after that, and after they took a break, so did i.
    haha

from hat i hear, its not what i hoped, i was hoping it was fast, and that old style they had in iowa, but, ill prolly pic it up anyways.

oh, and for everyone interested, THE NE METALLICA CD IS COMMING OUT SOON, and so far, the 2 songs ive heard, make that st. anger cd look like a joke.
i think that they are going to make a comeback with the new cd!!!

Nah, they just don't have that crazy, psychotic high energy like slipknot. (I honestly really dont like the lead guys voice all that much)

I love corey too, but leave stone sour with stone sour, give me my slipknot and make me want to MOSH!

As I've said, I've really not listened to the whole CD, so there may be a few songs I still like. But overall, still not really diggin it.

It reminds me of Korns last album. There single was awesome, and that was just about the only good song on that CD that I really REALLY liked. A couple were ok, but it was a disappointment for me.

What happened to the albums that make me wanna kick some ass and take names?! rrrrrr....
