    The view from my work.

Took these pics on Tuesday morning. The camera phone doesn't really do them justice but nice shots all the same.

Pic taken at 5am. Looking out over the Irish sea towards Scotland.

I spent about 6 weeks in Ireland last summer and I remember being shocked when it was pointed out to me that the land I saw in the distance was Scotland.

Just gorgeous there, and beautiful pictures!

Thanks. From my coastline to Scotland is only seventeen miles. We have some very close connections with Scotland and are locally known as Ulster Scots

On a good clear day you can make out the houses on the coast of Scotland. It is indeed a beautiful wee part of the world.

Wow, THAT was a camera phone! Just beautiful. I love sunrises... I just wish they didn't happen so early in the morning.

    You hiring at your work?

I'm of Scots descent, my husband is part Irish (yet we have an Italian last name, lovely mix of genetics there LOL). We are praying that one day we'll get to take a good month or so and visit both countries.

Re: The view from my work.

Where i am situated is perfect. I live right on the start of the world famous Antrim Coast Road Then we have the The Glens of Antrim, Antrim Plateau and the Giants Causeway, all within an hours drive.

Also we have the west coast of Scotland an hour away on the fast ferry and can be in the Highlands within two hours drive after disembarking from the fast ferry.

    Lifes good.
