Keep alot of egg crates in the tanks, and in one of the corners keep coconut husk in a little tub for them to lay in( make it a little damp so the eggs will not dry out.) Id say go ahead and buy an order of 500 or so online and go through and pick out 50 or so females and a few males. you have to remove the males after a few days because he will find and eat the eggs out of the laying material. Over all once you see eggs( they lay ALOT of them per cricket, they look like small rice) and after a week or two if you keep them warm you should have alot of babys hatching. Look online for a more detailed way on breeding but that is pretty much it. Remember, pinhead crickets are TINY, and ear easily killed. It seems that it takes them forever to grow and you kill alot of them on accident. Id recommend Roaches, as nasty as they seem they are no where near as bad as crickets. If a cricket escapes, it WILL find a place that you cant get to and it WILL chirp as loud as it can if its a male. Roaches need warmth and will die, if if the tub tipped over they would die and not breed so there is no worry about infestation as long as you do not live in Flordia Hope this helps- Matt
