Congrats Jo. She looks like she is doing very well. I think she will grow to be a great pet, and if the kink doesn't get any worse, I think she will breed just fine if you choose to do so.

Thanks Mike. Quite a few of Riordan's offspring from both of these clutches have interesting almost "melted" looking patterns.

Thanks Aleesha! It took well over 2 years to finally come up with a company name that just fit our family and our vision for the snakes.

And fyi, there's nothing wrong with the name "Kinky". I think it's just as adorable as she is!
LOL I just can't see going to a kid's snake presentation and talking about "Kinky". I think I'll come up with a nice gaelic or celtic name for her but she'll likely still get called "Kinky" anyways.

Mike and I really enjoy watching our own children learn about life through working with and understanding snakes so it's a natural extension for us to share that with other kids.

Thanks Robin. She's definitely a little spitfire and very determined to exceed everyone's expectations.

Thanks Tim. I've really appreciated the talks we've had about her and this condition and your advice about getting her ultrasounded. Even if all she does is become a pet and an ambassador snake for shows then that's a pretty cool thing place for her in our collection. The kink sure doesn't slow her down - what a little hunter this one is LOL.

Jo... seriously... the thought of you and Mike NOT getting emotionally attached to any snake.

If I had any coffee in my mouth it would have been dripping off my monitor.

She is such a pretty snake, just a stunning girl. Nice to hear she is kicking butt.

Regardless of her future, she picked the right boob in the right clutch in the right house... I bet there are snakes lining up in heaven saying "Me next... I want to be in Jo and Mike's egg!"

LOL hardly! I just knew the family was going to end up calling her "Kinky" and I'm just as determined to give her a proper name.

Oh Ed what a lovely idea! Now I'll have to go google and see if I can find out how to pronounce that properly. That's the worst with this naming scheme is getting the correct pronunciation down pat. Half the letters sound different in english...ARGHHH!

Take our snake Saoirse for instance. Now that name looks like Sor-shh or even Sor-sha to me...but noooooooo...it's properly said "seer-sha"...geesh! Don't even get me started on the pure tongue twisting torture of Daimhin's name. LOL
