I liked that a lot. Both the piece and the writing. I really like the art, especially how she took the time to make all the fish different with the familiarity of structure.

That guy was famous. I used to live down in that area and saw that guy almost everyday. He's been in movies and on TV probably hundreds of times over the years.

I hadn't thought of him until you mentioned him. It's been about two years since I saw him on his skates in his turban playing his guitar for any and all.

I'm hip to the fish symbolism in christianity but I am not certain that it had anything other than a coincidental attachment to my story. She had other figures out too. Though it may well have some connection, since I didn't ask, I don't really know.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

Wes, when you do it, you do it so very well. Your gift of putting imagery into words on a screen is really quite wonderfully unique.

Today, for some reason I've been very down, sad, a bit put off with my usual daily routine of the typical mom and wife....laundry, dishes, bills to pay, the "stuff" of life that normally is just there but for some reason today is disheartening to me.

Your words and the imagery they evoked took me away for a few moments to another place and time. For that mini-vacation of the mind, I thank you deeply - for some reason it's helped though I've no real idea why or quite how it did that.

Sometimes being an instrument is a pretty neat thing to be.

I am glad for your small bit of happiness.

Being an instrument is all well and good, even if unknowing, but if I am, have been and or will be, the tuning involved is really amazing.

I remember Wes! You remind me of a poet, who found his muse stuck on the planet of Hyperion... Although, your not quite 4 centuries old or insane (I think). In my minds eye, you resemble this man, however fictional he may be. It's a good thing.

Your story was lovely. What is more lovely is the pure love you wrote while describing your daughter. I certainly hope she knows how precious and beautiful she is through her daddy's eyes.

If you've not done so, please let her read your story. As a daughter and a mother of daughters, I am truly touched.

Some days I feel 4 centuries old and I wouldn't really debate the insanity thing.

    Thanks though, seriously.
