    Re: cinny's and black pastels

    Here is a black pastel

    Here is a cinny

Black pastels make blacker supers and cinny supers are browner.
I they think they both are awesome and affect combos in different ways. Some look like a blend of the two but black pastels are darker than cinnies with sqiggliys in the pattern and cinnies have more head blushiing (usually) and a more mojave like pattern.

I prefer cinny's but I'm slowly becoming a black pastel fan.

    Re: cinny's and black pastels

Here's a pic of my Cinnamon, produced by Tim Bailey. I think the two morphs look worlds apart in appearance and it's just strange to me that they both produce homozygous animals that is so similar to each other. Personally I think they look different enough that I'll probably end up getting both at some time or other.

    Re: cinny's and black pastels

I am cinnamon fan myself. I think it may be because I like blushing so much, and the cinnamons I have seen have more blushing. I like the black pastels in their own right, but I don't much like the little squigglys in the patterns of the black pastels. I think it is really neat how the combos they make look so different though.

Here is the girl that won me over to 'the cinny side:'

    Nice looking Cinny.

It seems like there are a LOT of different Cinny and Black Pastel lines out there, of course some are more common than others such as Ian G, BHB, and Graziani. However, I think the genetics are close enough... so much so that two Cinny lines might be just as differnet as some Black Pastels and Cinnies. Personally, I don't put much weight in a name but rather how much I like the morph, what it can produce, and what genetic problems might come with it.
