actually i got a *really* nice one from walmart, it reads up to 2500 grams, and it even has a little basket that you put on top, and the scale tares to it so you dont have to weigh the basket and then the snake in the basket, and then subtract basket weight. it was in the kitchen section and it was 24.99. love it. and that's a gorgeous snake btw!!
