Just ordered my repster box. Questions.

Ok I have ordered a box from repster to ship some corns out. Once I get the box I go back to repster and type in the info for the rate, but how do I pay for shipping, and do I drop the package off at FedEx? I have know idea how to do this.

I have not used repster, but from what I understand you pay online, then you print the label out form home and schedule a pickup? This is just what I read on their site so I duno...keep us updated!

I believe you go back to repster enter the address pay for shipping online with a credit card, print your label and either get your package picked-up or drop of at Fedex.

Re: Just ordered my repster box. Questions.

I just shipped out my first box using Repsters Portal and it couldn't have been simpler.

I'll just break it down in order of what I did.

Step One: Filling out your profile. After clicking on the shipping portal, you should automatically be brought to this forum. Fill out your profile with your address, phone number and full name. This will simplify things when you get ready to get your shipping rates and ultimately shipping your package. Filling out your Profile.

Step Two: Filling out your Billing Information. You should be automatically redirected to the forum to fill out your Billing Information after you filled out your profile. They do require a Credit Card. If you were not redirected to fill in your Billing Information, you will be after acquiring your shipping rates.

Step Three: Ordering the box. Click "Need a Box?", choose the appropriate size for the animal you are shipping. Ordering Box

Step Four: Getting Shipping Rates. They walk you through this step, like I said, this is a very simple service. This forum is for filling out the recipients information. Fill in their name, address and phone number. Then it will ask you the size of the box. If you ordered the box from repster, choose the correct size box from drop down menu. Then the weight, weigh the package in pounds and ounces. Remember, the exact weight is pretty vital, it can save or cost you money. There is also a drop down menu that says "Pick up/Drop Off", currently, repster does not have the ability to schedule a pickup. So, if you want to set up to drop off a package, choose if you are going to drop the package off at The Business Service Center or The Station. You can also hand the package to a fed ex delivery representative. For the drop down menu "Service" you want to choose Priority Overnight.

Optional: You can set up an account at Fed Ex. I don't remember if they charge you anything when you are opening an account. I remember them billing me for $15, but I might be wrong. You can also call them and get them to set up your account then. This will allow you to schedule a pick up and they will come to your house and pick up the package.

Step Five: After filling in the information for Shipping Rates, you will know the total for the package you are wanting to ship. On this page it will say "Click here to Ship this Package" click this link. Then there will be a link to print your label, click it, print it and stick it in the label sleeve that is included in the repster box.

I hope this helps and makes sense, I was going off memory when I shipped a couple of weeks ago.

Does it go by weight or the size of the box. When I have shipped fed ex before reptster they went by the size of the box.

I wouldn't know with repster, but with FedEx I believe its done by both, and that's why their rates went up. I haven't shipped reptiles in a while though.
