Yes, I would recommend moving the tank away from that window ASAP and get it covered on three sides. Also, you might want to add a bit of decor for the snake to hide amongst in addition to two identical and close fitting hides.

That top is interesting...homemade? And is it wood? If so, it might not be that good for a BP tank since they need 50-60% humidity at all times and 70% during sheds. That humidity can warp a wood top creating openings. Just saying...
