Young boas can be fed every week, nothing wrong with it, even when you feed adults every week they definatly not going to die from it. My advice to feed boas is just feed them every week or 2 weeks when they are young, when feeding every week you need to skip feeding once in a while (for there movement.), the snake does not depend on that specific prey.. Even in the wild there isn't a monkey around witch gives your boa a rat every week or every 2 weeks. I have expirienced that my boa witch is fed every 2 weeks since birth is way stronger and even so big as my boas fed every week. But my boas witch where fedded every week are less stronger and have more fat, and beleive it or not... Both animals have the same body mass...

Everyone chooses for a schedual witch works the best for them, i choosed mine as above, somebody else does it otherwise and has also healthy pets as boas. You just have to trie and expirience yourself... And remember eatch boa is different !!

Thank you very much, that was very helpful. After reading this post, I am going to be switching all of my boas to an every two week schedule from here on out. I feel that it is important for them to be less fatty, so that they are healthier. Thanks again.
