Ball Python spitting or throwing up? lol

Alright 3 days ago I fed my ball a pretty big rat and he took it no problem. Today I take him and he went drinking in my glass of water...30 minutes after that I hang him around my neck and suddenly some liquid falls on my hand and shorts, so I jump immediately towards the toilet since I was just he was pissing on me.Haha. So I get to the bathroom and the "piss" doesnt smell anything , it's also colorless and has almost the feel of water but a lil more thick (like saliva+water).
    He seems ok,
I'm just wondering if he threw up and if it's bad? or if he just spit some water (wierd lol)
    thanks!

    Hi,

Did you look inside his mouth to see if there was a lot of mucus, are there any wheezing or popping sounds when he is breathing (when he's just chilling not when hes' breathin hard or in a funny poosition on your shoulders or anything)?

If you look in the waterbowl in his tank are there any signs of mucus in the water or caked on cage furniture?

You can use the side of one of those SOFT spatula-things; you know, those things that your-mom-scraped-all-of-the-icing-out-of-the-bowl-with-thus-disappointing-you-forever-and-pushing-you-into-therapy.....you know???
    oh....never mind

Re: Ball Python spitting or throwing up? lol

    Hi,

Well that depends on the snake.

With some of mine I can do it by simply putting my finger and thumb carefully on the front of their lips and gently opening them apart while tryign to avoid the teeth. On others this would leave me bleeding for a week as they tried to get away and I caught myself on their teeth.

Some people say they can open them by pulling gently on the skin under their jaws but I could never get that to work for some reason.

You could try opening it by gently inserting something soft like a rubber spatula or possibly a pen if it had a soft covering - you don't want then to hurt themselves on the object but it is also important not to use something they can get their teeth stuck in.

I'm not the person to ask really when I read that back - wait for someone better to answer is the best advice I can give.
