Some of the post-game show people were saying that this season shows that basketball is heading away from "one man shows" like with MJ and Kobe Bryant, and more towards all around team play. Paul Pierce deserves this more than anyone, my dad said he has been with the Celts for years and years while they were an awful team, and it finally paid off. What a game. Celtics were really playing like all stars.

thats true paul has been wit the celts for a while now and deserves it. KG and ray are vets too tho so Im really glad they did what they did. there is just too much talent in the NBA now for it to be a one man show. back in MJ's day there werent players like kobe, AI, Carmelo, labron, KG.... the list goes on. i would love to see MJ play now. it would be so amazing cuz he might actually have some competition. MJ would still be the man tho no one has even gotten close to his caliber yet

Boston deserves it. They were #1 all year for a reason. Not a huge Paul Pierce or Ray fan but it was awesome to hear about them winning it (was working) Congrats to Boston!

yeah, they embarrassed the lakers badly. I was out at a bar for the game, and people were going nuts. Also ALL night it was raucous as hell, with people lighting fireworks, honking horns, and just generally yelling. Boston was pretty insane last night.

I agree, Boston was so loud last night. I live in the Brigham Circle / Mission Hill area (no where near the Garden) and it took me forever to fall asleep because of all the honking and yelling. A couple of my friends were downtown and they said it was nuts. Not as crazy as the Sox in 04 but still crazy.

after the trade happen i was wishing i lived in boston my whole life cuz of how bad they are owning sports. it would be a blast.
