When I was a kid, I always thought unicorns were real, just like other animals people told me real but I had never seen ("rhinoceros is real...riiiight"). I was pretty devastated when I was told "yeah, not really real".

Wasn't there someone a couple of decades ago that used to do the renaissance faire circuit with a goat that had one horn in the middle of it's head? I remember seeing that somewhere.
