...nobody is acting sad...more or less felt sorry for you because you were lazy to type out coastal/diamond cross...so we felt bad breaking the news to you that it wasnt a 'coastal.' It is a very nice snake...we just felt bad because it looked like you were sold an animal for what it wasnt...people here are just looking out for you.

purity is very important to some, completely unimportant to others... but i think everyone agrees that the animals need to be well represented. i'm sure they were well represented since you got them from yasser so all is good.

either way, they look nice and i'm sure you'll enjoy them. just watch out for that feeding response.

I hear that.. The feeding is like no other..

I have yet to see any of my snakes strike so fast and accurate with all the force.. It will blow your mind. Be careful.. It is way cool to see them while hanging strike and eat all natural like.. Its so sik!!

Colin stated it clearly when he said misrepresentation. This is the main problem when it comes to carpet crosses. It is always best to label them correctly in case someone new to the hobby looks at the pics or becomes interested in them.
It is all in the knowledge.
For future reference, diamond x coastal can be typed D x C, diamond x jungle as D x J, etc.

...well purity in carpets IS huge....it is very important to a lot of us as much of the gene pool is already 'muddy'....and it's getting harder and harder to fine pure animals...purity vs hybrids became such an issue with carpets.... that another site was created...
