Best way to transport a BP?

This weekend I will be taking my BP to get sexed. This is the first time I will be taking it anywhere.

What is the best way to move them with minimal stress on the animal?

I just put them in a pillowcase. Tie it nice and tight... then place that in a small tub with a towel underneath them.

Do not forget to use a tub with holes in it.

I use a smaller tub, one they fit in without a lot of room to dance around in.

depends on how far you're taking it. you may want some kind of heat pad.

I will only have it out of its enclosure for about 30-45 minutes at most.

I agree, ours go in a pillowcase and then into a tub, though with only one, you can get by with just the pillowcase and put it in your jacket if it's cold.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a pillow case is best.

I have small tubs for each snake lined with fuzzy cat mats. In winter, I just add a ferret pouch and instant heat pack.

The big problem with this method is when the snake decides to use the bathroom on you....

I put my animals in a snakebag (aka pilllow case in some instances) and then put them in a tub. I have added towels to the tub before for some cushioning/extra warmth. Since I'm usually the one driving, i put the tub either in the front passenger seat or in the back, depending on tub size. If it's cold I'll cover it with some blankets to either keep more heat in and a heat pack. If it's warm I try to cover it with a light blanket to keep in out of direct sunlight.
