I have set beliefs on keeping animals, and IMO, keeping this animal is cruel. It would never survive normally. If I posted pictures, it would be for the benefit of education. I don't wanna hear people say "it's not that bad" because I will have a problem with force feeding a snake every week for its entire life. The animal needs to be put down and I wanna know the most humane way to do this from home.

    Re: Bad news.....nightmare

I do not speak from experience, but the idea of 'freezing' has always unsettled me. Is such a death quick and painless? (That's an honest question, not a rhetoric judgment.)

What about using the CO2 method used for killing rats? I would assume it would have the same effect on a snake, and from all accounts, it is the most humane way to do it; no pain or discomfort, just sleepiness and then bye-bye. Perhaps somebody with experience can chime in on that.

Regardless of how you do it, I am very sorry for you and the snake. It must be a very disheartening experience for you. Take care.
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.

How is this funny? If you think chopping the heads off of deformed babies that YOU produce is fun, never come near my snakes. This really is serious and hard for me. If killing them is easy for you fine, but it isn't for me so would you mind showing a little respect, or don't post in my thread.

omg.. thats terrible!! Im sorry to hear you also had one with problems. I personally would rather use CO2 then to remove their heads.. I could never do that. Its really upsetting to hear anyone use LOL and removing any part of an animals body in the same sentence..

Im sorry Chase that you have to deal with this.

I never insulted you or call you a name. I simply said I didn't find that funny or appropriate at all and asked you not to post in this thread. It's really disgusting however that you think decapitating an innocent baby python makes you laugh. Please remove yourself from this thread, you're not helping at all.
