Need help with TV placement in apartment
I am sure most of you guys have a lot more experience with owning/renting your own place and setting it up etc. I am having trouble figuring out which wall to put my TV against in my apartment. I think it would be best flat up against the wall instead of in a corner because of speaker placement for the surround sound. Here is the floor plan.

I want it in the living room but there are two walls I could put it against and can't decide which. Also I have a couch and love seat for that room. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the floor plan shows a fireplace. However at this time I do not have a unit with the fireplace although if an opening occurs with the fireplace I will take that one. So at this time there is no fireplace along the left wall in the living room.

Re: Need help with TV placement in apartment
I think it would be good where the fireplace is, if it's not there. Although if it does have a fire place, i wouldn't know where to put it with that floor plan!

If you got surround sound going make sure you can have the correct distance for each speaker. However, I had surround sound and I dunno, the 2 speakers in the back kinda werent worth it for me.

Yes it is a flat screen. I could mount it and I am sure they would allow it as long as I return the wall the the original finish it was. As for distance from the speakers it isn't a huge deal because with my receiver I can make it louder or quieter based on distance. I have been using this set up in a different room for about a year so now I just need to get it set up in this new place.
This floor plan is just tough to get a tv in a good place. But hey what can I do.

No, I have not. But that will be the first thing I do. I don't get to move in until August and I live 800 miles away from there right now so I won't be able to check until I move in.
