Re: Favorite Breeder Website
RDR: Very informative (almost too much if thats possible) and love the clutch by clutch
EBN: Best pics, hands down
8ball: Great site, wish it was updated and had more pics
VPI, TSK : very informative and great pics
Graziani:Wish it had more facility pics and not so many available morphs on the side when 90% are unavailable

Re: Favorite Breeder Website
I like Tim and Monica's website. Easy to navigate, straight forward, to the point.

The birthing records on RDR are nice but they would be better as background info as opposed to the main way to browse his collection.

I agree. I like all the extra resources, but navigating the availability list is a nightmare.

Re: Favorite Breeder Website
What do you guys/gals think are the important parts of a website? My thoughts:
Important:
1) Kept updated with availability, prices, and pictures
2) Shows something about the owner/husbandry practices
3) Easy to navigate
Less Important:
1) Flashy stuff/animations
2) User accounts/forums (bp.net is all I need! )
Anyone have any thoughts on what constitutes a good website?

My nods are for 8ball and Mark Mandic for the sections regarding timelines and breeding.
Those are not easy to compile and IMHO shows a level of consideration for other hobbyists that you do not always see.
I like sites that are current, easy to navigate, and are organized. I like clean... clean... clean... clean.
No dancing bologna. No animated fonts, etc. Searching for a page that is buried gets trying regardless of what kind of site it is. I think that the breeders that have clean sites know this. Especially for info pages, as those are the pages that are passed on and linked to for newer keepers to learn from.
It benefits them (the breeders), and it benefits others (new hobbyist and potential customers). It is cyclical.
