I believe that evil in the world is always going to be more ostentatious than good. There are plenty of good people in the world, and there is a lot of good will out there. But that's not what makes news. Think about the schoolchildren who had the misfortune of seeing this poor animal - they told someone about it because they were probably worried, and someone was caring enough to make the right calls and contact the MSPCA. Then you have the people at Angell who dedicate their lives to saving animals like these. So really, if most people didn't care, the snake would probably be dead and still nailed to the pole.

i must have skipped over this post.i agree 1000% with this.there is definatly not enough good in the news.if there was(which there will never be) then alot of people could see wat they dont get a chance to.

In many cultures, snakes are bad things to be killed on sight. While in some cases, this makes sense (rural areas where there are poisonous snakes all over the place) in most cases it makes none at all. Like this case.

Some people are just mean. Nothing gets me upset like deliberate animal cruelty.

The American culture does not teach to kill snakes on site.
Rural areas with HOT snakes do not deal with them by nailing them alive to a post.
In this case, it is animal cruelty done by a twisted person. Animal cruelty totally pisses me off. I don't relate to children being cruel to animals (where's the parental education) and I don't relate to teens and/or adults being cruel.
The level of disrespect for animals, save our own animal species, is rampant. So many going extinct because of the decimation of their habitats to make room for the overpopulation of human animals. That outright cruelty, in your face cruelty, flagrant and intentionally cruelty happens is beyond what I can even begin to comprehend......

your post should have been why i dont like most people or something along those lines.and yea burning a kritter is a little extreme,i know this.and just so you know im not a serial killer either.i like people,we are such a interesting race.now i get real upset wen i see mistreated animals that are sick but at least wen people post those kinda threads here there are people in here that can help.i just dont see the point in posting this at all.wat are you gonna do about it?anything?or just show it to people?and if its just to show people,why?

Why do you get to decide what his post should be about? What is the relevance that you as an individual don't get the point ? When did the memo come out with the requirement of taking action of some kind in order to pass along a news story? I found the story newsworthy and I hope that the perpetrator is caught.

whoever did this should seriously get counseling, and do some time! sick, sadistic, mental loonies. what has the world come to. You know I saw some videos on youtube of some stupid ass kids doing stuff like that. With some sort of king snake, I couldn't tell what kind it was because they were throwing it against a rock for fun. Having a great time too. Sickening! I might be able to pull the video up. But I don't think you want to see it.
