    Strange behavior?

Anyone ever experience thier BP squeezing VERY tightly while handling?
I took my 1 yr old BP out for about 5 min, and from the start it wrapped itself around my wrist (slowly) but very tightly. I had some trouble getting him off my arm and back into his tank, and had visible red marks where he was wrapped on my arm. He had been fed 4 days previous, temp and humid. were normal, and he was not about to shed. Any ideas?

Nope he was just being a snake most likely and holding on tight. Some of them do, some don't, some do sometimes, not other times. As long as the snake was reasonably relaxed, then it's all good. I usually just unwrap starting at the tail.

Wait till you have a big old adult female do that to you. Amazing how powerful they can be. I know I wouldn't be putting our bigger female BP's on my neck anymore LOL.

Yeah buddy, maybe he just didn't wanna go back in.. Check out this photo

Took me 5 minutes to get him to loosen up and go in his tank. He was practically glued on. Is he new for you? Maybe he really likes you?
