A dark morph is a melanistic animal that is overall a darker brown color without much of the other colors reg. balls have. We have a few other dark morph animals here and they stand out a little more on the dark morph color being normal pattern.

VERY few dark morphs have been proven, I asked Ian G about them and he said it is very rare to find ones that are reproducible.
Cinnies, black pastels, axanthics, etc are not dark morph animals by the general term, as they are not dark melanistic animals like the "dark morphs", but rather a darker animals with the basic colors that dark morphs lack.

The "malted ball" you might have seen on k.s is a overpriced dark morph animal that is the same idea as the ones we have gotten ( same source too).

I will get some pics of the dark more animals we have for a better idea of what they are. We should have some 08' dark morph babies in to show what the babies look like.

Hope this helps, he is a killer animal with huge potential that is untapped as far as combo potential. A very unknown morph it will be a great project for years to come.

He is an awesome snake. He should be fully shed in another day or two and we can't wait to get fresh shed pictures of him. Maybe our untrained eyes will be able to see the difference between the dark morph and a normal once we have babies with him. We are looking at trying to figure out the super form first, but may mix him with some other things probably starting with Pastel and then hopefully later getting the reduced pattern mixed with some recessive traits!
