Re: HELP my city is proposing a ban on exotics

Well, I got a reply from the Mayor's office, noting that they did receive my email. And one of the council members thanked me for my submission.

I don't know how many people are actually sending letters, but at least 1 got through!

Re: HELP my city is proposing a ban on exotics

I just sent my letter off. I hope it helps. I don't know what I would do if such a ban was passed. We have the limit on cats and dogs which is a total of 4.And about 20 exotics. I don't think they even have a clue as to how many people that are taking perfect care of their animals would be affected. I stressed in my letter about people with allergies keeping exotics and the loss to the local economy because they would no longer be buying the huge amount of pet supplies that all of us know we spend so much on. Lets face it Petsmart and other stores cannot survive by dog and cat alone!!
