    Re: Freshly built new rack!

Yeah I bought pre-cut stuff from Lowe's which is heavily over priced... I saw the Melamine board like you are talking about at home depot, but I don't have a vehicle big enough to put something like that in.

Clumps really well making spot cleaning really easy. I also like the fact that it's white because everything shows up on it (If you were to have a mite problem.. or maybe just to make finding the urine easier). There wasn't a change in humidity really... if anything it got more humid. This stuff is super absorbent too.

You can order it offline for about $5-$7 for 2lb bag, or $60 for a 50lb bag which is a much better deal if you have a use for such a large bag.

    Anyway hope this helps.

They could have cut it down to size for you before you took it home. I got my melamine at home depot. I needed 4 sheets of 8'X4' to make my rack (it weighs over 325 lbs!!!) and they cut it down to size before I loaded it into the truck to take it home. All I had to do once I got home was trim a few edges to make all the shelves identical. Getting them to pre-cut all of it for me only cost $2.00 lol.

    Re: Freshly built new rack!

Looks like similar measurements to a 32QT tub which can usually house an adult male or a female up to 1500-1800g (most ppl like to go to 41QT after 1500g). Wal-mart and target have alot of tubs. Target seems to have better ones for building racks though. My rack can hold 3 diff tub sizes that are sold at target. I can arrange it in any combo I like and change it as my tub needs change.
