Female Feeding After Laying Eggs - Time Frame?

A question for you experienced breeder folks...

What's the average time between the female laying eggs and her first meal post-lay. Assume that the eggs are being artificially incubated and have been removed from the enclosure.

Is it a few weeks, a few days, a month before she'll accept a meal?

    Thanks!

All of mine last year(3) ate within a few days to a week of being pulled off of their clutches. As long as they are washed off(dilute soapy water) and their tubs are cleaned very well, they seem to bounce back quite quickly

One female layed allready. It took a week before her first meal again, last year I think even longer.

Usually about 4 or 5 days. One girl from this year held out for 2 weeks and I've had them go as long as a month. That's pretty unusual though. I have pulled them out and given them another wash down if they are being tuff, that has had mixed results.

Most of mine will eat the next feeding day - which can be anytime from that evening to a few days later - even my WC girls fed within a day or two of dropping. But you do have to make sure you clean them and their tubs really well.
