Re: Any take their BP "for a walk?"

I used to take one of mine with me on a short walk to check the mail. Since I've moved onto a military base,
where my 3 little refugees must hide, they don't get that much time outta their tubs anymore. Once it warms up a little more though,
a short trip into the backyard for some 'sun' shouldn't hurt too much.

Re: Any take their BP "for a walk?"

Sadly, the first time I saw and fell in love with a bp was while I worked at a fast food restaurant, I was 17. A co-worker of mine brought her juvenile bp (poor thing, I wonder if it is even alive today) to work with her on a spring day. She actually brought it right into the restaurant! Anyway, I of course was ignorant to her stupidity and adored the snake, but It took me two years of learning and planning before I finally got one. Thank-goodness I didn't ask her for tips....

I have a very large property in the country so on a warm day this summer, I'm sure I will take LD out for a romp in the grass, closely watched of course

I am sure there is, similar to bringing a dog in a restaurant. It just shows you the type of owners that do exist and give us a bad rep.

Well that is some of the thought behind getting a license to own exotic snakes, which I wouldn't mind, but would cost alot of money and man power to set-up and enforce.

Re: Any take their BP "for a walk?"

We've got almost 3 acres here so every once in a while I let one out in the grass for 10-15 minutes while I walk around and watch them. Boas I let out during the day or night, balls seem to be shy during the really sunny day so dusk and night time is when I let em stretch their scales.

Too many boas to list and a few balls as well
