Those are crazy prices! I have 5 tank setups... all with CHE bulbs.. all running off of standard, 10 dollar each tank lamps. They have been set up for over a year now with 0 issues. (and all the origional CHE bulbs too!

I've looked on ebay to see if I can find them cheaper, but after shipping, its almost the same price give or take 5 dollars. I buy my black lights from Canadian Tire, and they don't even make white glow, $2 for a 50watt black light that produces no purple color or any noticeable light.

I know my bp can see the light a bit, but I don't believe it stresses him out all. Plus I have two UTHs on a thermostat and a rheostat so I can ditch the lamp if I want to, but it helps with ambient.

I guess it is just a case of CRAZY canadian prices!!! Can't you order from RBI??? or do you have to pay all kinds of extra fees and crap being that you are in Canada???

Man, I need to smuggle some products into Canada, and sell them on the black market! It would probably make more money then selling crack!

Haha! Its true! Not everything is like that, but I have bought alot of supplies on-line because they are cheaper, but depending on the company, sometimes shipping is mandatory UPS ($$) and must include insurance, then theres taxes at the boarder....sigh.
