To add to more confusion here he has a pair of het pieds for sale that is kinda messed up with possibilities from them.How could he have hets all ready as he said he was breeding next year for the first time. http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=64495.

I am lost as well. Breeding a homo pied to normal females will give you nothing more than het pieds. Where are you coming up with double hets??

I think you need to slow down are learn the basic genetics on what you are breeding and want to breed before you spend a lot of money.

Sorry hon, but if you are going to quote me, get your post right. You never made mention of the homo pied being poss. het albino or having a normal poss. het albino. I was strictly going by what YOU posted in the OP.

Hold on i just reread your add.You say that you are selling a pair of 100% het for pieds is this correct? Then why does your ad mention your PIED male that pos het albino and the normal female thats pos het albino? Your ad makes it sound like these are the parents

You're right. I clarified that part of the ad again. Basically, I got my new lot of morphs from the same dude that sold me my pied poss het albino. So the Dad of the het pieds for sale is my pied's brother and the Mom was also a norm poss het for albino also. I don't want them because I'm getting a female 100% DH for albino/pied. And because I hope my pied and possible het prove out. I'm not explaining myself anymore now so assume away lol.

I fell the same way as Joe and MPenn. When I first looked at the thread I was confussed. But I understand what your saying now. And as for haters, Not here. I am still new to the forum and no one has been mean that I have seen. Try some of the other forums like kingsnake and a few others if you want to see some haters. I believe they were trying to understand your add. I would have asked the questions.

You have corrected the ad to read what they are so its all good now .Just for info purposes i doubt a 33% het albino has a chance at proving out to have the albino gene in them.

As a breeder and someone hoping to sell offspring, you shouldn't take this attitude. Trust me, if I didn't already have snakes for that project and was looking into it, you would have more explaining to do.

Sounds like a very "wasteful" way to got to where you are going. You will get a bunch of stuff you have no idea and cannot accurately tell what they are. I would either get a 100% het albino female or a full albino female and breed that to your pied.

Then you will have a big chance to see if he is a poss het albino. If you see no albinos pip you will have 100% DH from Pied x Albino breeding.

Also when people ask questions and people come back with well I have a college degree! It is 99% meaningless in the world of snakes to have that degree, unless its business or Ball python genetics. And with that attitude you will have trouble going far in this business.

People aren't mean, people are just way too defensive.

I'm very sorry that you don't feel that this is a friendly forum. Your first post was very unclear, I was even scratching my head trying to understand how you planned to get DH.

As far as I can see from this thread, people were simply trying to get clarification from you, and you were getting defensive about that.

I hope that you'll relax a little and take time to learn from people who are trying to offer you their help and expertise.
