As you all know my paint horse died about a year and a half ago. Today I was out at my sisters and met someone with a very nice draft/QH gelding for adoption. He's very nice, I'm hoping I'm approved as a home. I've been holding out for a big boy!!

That's great. I hope they approve you. Drafts are great horses. I was lucky enough to foster a percheron mare once. She was simply awesome. Good luck!

Good luck! heh. My hubby's parents own a horse farm and I get to start riding in a few weeks. They have the right horse picked out for me to ride already and I love going out to the field to give them treats (healthy treats of course, silly fat ponies...) Im so excited! I wish I was getting my own horse, well sort of lol.

Ohhh my ex sister-in-law used to have a draft/QH gelding. Fantastic horse! Just a big love of a thing.

He's nice looking He must be a joy to be around. His rider in the pic has a huge grin on her face! Usually you see people riding in pics with a serious expression.. I can def. see the QH in him.. he looks to have a nice balance of both genetic sides.
