    Yay Gin!!!

Im a tattoo artist as well..and I have to hear that crap alllllll day long..."y'all good...but y'all is high"
Or they want to know why its gonna cost so much to fix it,when they only paid 30 dollars for it LOL
i honestly want to strangle people when i hear that...

and if you wanna spend 500 dollars getting into a chair...there are actually GOOD artists out there that will be glad to help you spend your money ,and Kat would NOT be one of them LOL

At least not while she has her show. She and her crew are great tattoo artists, but I wouldn't pay to get inked on T.V., and that's what you're paying for. There are a ton of better artists out there for portrait work. Niko, almost everyone at All or Nothing, Tyrell, Darrin White, Joshua Carlton, Robert Hernandez... there are tons of them who are better and don't charge as much as Kat would on LA Ink. And don't get me started on Miami Ink.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

Yeah, I would not rec. going to her. Because you would overpay. I was just saying that her work is a great example of portraiture Because, some people's portraits are just horrific, from what I have seen on the Bad Tattoos group on LiveJournal (a Great place to see some reallllly poor tattoos.) People get these tattoos and think that they are Great.. when in reality they have been "had" by a poor "artist."
Some other great artists: Bob Tyrrell and Josh Carlton (yeah Wallace.. their work is mind blowing..!) Guy Atchison is awesome too.
Cant wait until May. We're going to the Columbus tattoo expo.. I am counting the days!

the one on my right arm on my avatar are my initials. r.t.e.

the one on my left arm is just plain stupid.

sorry for the pose. that's the only pic i got with my tats showing. im a wannabe bodybuilder.

Hell yeah, Hernandez is the man. If I hit the lottery (if I played)the first thing I'd do would be to meet with Rob and plan a sleave of portraits. Then I'd head to the east coast to buy some snakes.

Is there some reason why we're not putting these posts into this long thread on tatts that already exists? =)
