Re: Whats the best Pastel line?
I had to select other! A lot of it depends on what you are going for! If it is just a pastel I like them all for their uniqueness. If I am making a bumble bee I would use a Lemon, but then again I like cinna bees! Then also Pewter is pretty cool, but I guess is more of a super pastel. I also like Mojave combo's with Graziani line pastels. I think the blond pastel would look really cool mixed with axanthic. I could go on and on here with all different things!

bell line for me if I'm forced to pick one. But I personally think you should buy for the snake itself, the line's not nearly as important.

I really like Bell lines if I can find them and I like Ruppel lines. Has anyone else seen the amazing super pastel that Casey Lazik has? It's a Ruppel pastel crossed on another line, I'd love to make one of those. http://reptilia.com/index.php?page=s...mart&Itemid=73

Re: Whats the best Pastel line?
I like different things about different line depending on what project I am going to be plugging them in to. If its Bees then Lemons, if its supers then Greg's line, if I'm mixing it with a vanilla then the Blondes. Each line offers different options an looks. So like was said before shop the animal not the line.

I have Bell, Graziani and Lemon. I like them all differently.
Breed out for quality, and it really won't matter, I don't think.

Re: Whats the best Pastel line?
I agree that it is only a matter of taste. As Greg Graziani bred his pastels for dorsel blushing. Kevin (NERD) bred his for this bright yellow, and so on. I like the heavy blushing in the graziani pastels, but I also like the bright yellow that other world renowned breeders put out... much like Kevins lemon pastel.
I would suggest adding one of each to your collection if you plan to breed because people enjoy different things about pastels. And it's all about variation.

Re: Whats the best Pastel line?
Wheres the "they're all the same" option? IMO a pastel is a pastel there are nice ones and not so nice ones from every line. Selective breeding may have made very subtle differences between the lines but if your not buying from the originator of the line I don't see the point in worrying about it. Just buy one that you like.
