Re: car help
It is a manual but it wont it acts like to motor has no power as no circuit from the key to the ignition system. Lights, and locks work, alarm and Horn. No bad fuses that I can tell. But I'm posting on my car site as well hopefully my F-body guys can save me!

Hell, you might even have a bad wire close to your Loom, I suspect its prolly before the loom if all the lights and stuff work.

Re: car help
When you turn the key does ANYTHING happen? Any clicks from the starter or anything? With the problem the other day with your starter running and running. That may be something to check out.
And if its not that. Then like everyone else I'd put CASH MONEY on it being the ignition switch.
If you have trouble believing anybody. Have your battery tested. Then have your starter tested. Both of these can be pulled off and taken to your local auto parts stores to be tested.
But ill tell ya right now, its either the starter, or the ignition switch.

Nothing happens when the key is turned. The stereo doesn't come on nothing all the lights work including the headlights. When the key is in start position brakes are still locked but wheel is not.

I doubt its his starter, cause he would get dashboard lights.

Check for spark and fuel. Pull the air filter and see if the injectors are spraying when it is trying to start. Pull aNeed to check for spark and fuel. Pull the air filter and see if the injectors are spraying when it is trying to start. Pull a plug and put the wire on it and let it rest on ground portion of the block (avoid other wires and sensors). Crank the engine and see if you are getting a nice spark.
Low fuel could be a bad filter, when was it changed last?
Spark could be coil, distributor, or ignition module. plug and put the wire on it and let it rest on ground portion of the block (avoid other wires and sensors). Crank the engine and see if you are getting a nice spark.

No need to check them as nothing happens when the key is turned normally just putting the key in causes all the gauges and warning light on the dash to flash as well as the fuel pump to kick on nothing of the sort happening here, I'm guessing that pat is right and I've got a loose wire or the ignition switch went out.
