Re: Do you feed at night or in the daytime
I usually feed at night, just because thats when I have time to do it. I have fed during the day before. Slinky doesn't really care, he likes to eat.

Yeah thanks...I've actually been keepin up on the other thread since we were having the same problem. We tried again last night with no luck so I'm SERIOUSLY starting to consider posting a video of our next feeding attempt just to get input from everyone...

Do you wait a week before trying new feeding strategies. Also you should try feeding pre-killed that are a little smaller than you would usually feed it. Also check the temps and humidity. Make sure the hide is an appropriate size. How big is your snake. Has it ate for you before? Did you handle it a lot before it went off of feed?
[ It's okay to not know as long as you care enough to learn, thanks for this site B][/B]

I just got done feeding mine now. I kinda just do it when I have time. Usually ends up being night though by the time I get home and thaw out everything.
Check out www.killerpets.com and let me know what you think! Always looking for ways to improve the site

Night time for mine. That is when he is up and looking for food.

Re: Do you feed at night or in the daytime
Depends on the snake or rather species. I feed the boa and ball in the evening, looking for them to awake and "ready" (noses out of hides with their game faces on).
I don't think the corn would care if I woke him up to eat, he's just so excited about the miracle of mouses from the sky. =D
The burm is happy to eat anytime on any day that ends in "Y". He also is only one of the four who literally begs for food. Imagine this face, minus the tears, on a snake head.

"...mommy...so...hungry...near...death....withering...away..."
We call him "puppy" when he looks like this, hehe!
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

Re: Do you feed at night or in the daytime
i have a wierd feeding routine for my bp...but i feed it durin the day, strictly only every 7 days...on wed...at around 4 or 5 p.m...but my bp is picky the way he/she eats....its a baby, about 3-4 months old...and the only way he will eat so far is from my hands outside of his enclosure.
