He ate 24 hours ago. He'll be fine, especially if all you do is pick him up to put him in a small, closed tub where he will feel secure. I've never had a Ball Python regurge and have needed to soak them a good number of times.
Judging by my 1.0 male bp, and your 800.1200 bps, i'll take your advice.
