Yes a female that will not eat but a few months out of the year and will not get bigger than 800 Grams and lays 3 Egg clutches to me is not good genetics to be passed on.
I would not want a Mojave female that that laid 3 eggs a year because she is 800 grams and will not feed good enough to get bigger and how many years will it even take to get her there. How long would have to breed this girl to make a super or even a double trait if I take a 3 egg go at it every year.
Yes this girl is a normal but anything that is breed to her is going to have a chance to be a bad feeder that could take a long time to get to breeding weight and would take even longer if the breeding weight was 1200 to 1500 grams.
I personally would not want to take a chance to sell someone or even produce bad feeding animals.
I do not own a dwarf retic but I am sure they eat more than 2 months a year and give more than 3 or 4 eggs a year. So no I will not tell the retic people anything.
