Vet visit for one snake at $130.00! Does that include stool samples and other stuff or is it just a wellness check? Our Vet charges $60 for an individual snake wellness check. If you add a stool sample tack on an extra $50. It is difficult to get a look as you have to have someone hold the snake for you while you do it. Lucky for us my wife and I make a good team. Also with our vet if you take in more than one at a time the average price per snake drops to just below $50.

The price sounds high for a wellness check, but since you really do not know what you are looking for and you are having trouble getting its mouth open for a good inspection the Vet visit sounds worth it as long as the vet knows snakes and isn't some mammal vet that is going to read a couple books and look at your snake.
