It's an engorged mite, not a tick.. Unless you're picking up seed-ticks somewhere and transferring them to your snake, which should be impossible this time of year, then it's a mite.

Yeah, it's def. a Mite, I've founud many more.
Although since I reptile Reliefed him and bleached out his tank twice, i haven't seen one again. Gonna use the PAM though for preventative measures.

And ticks in Texas are possible at all times, but still improbable.
