I hate the thought that I am getting out of them for now.
Funny, the Morongo Valley is the one I wanted to get from a breeder. But now that we have our rescue, I think our Rosy quota is filled for now.

Do you like the Otay Lake one, too? It's mostly black with a little bit of blue.

Re: Rosy Boas: Which do you prefer?

I've always like rosies but my hubby doesn't because he says "they have no neck".

I love albino whitewaters and any locality that has clearer stripes and blue. =)

Honestly, looking at the pages with numerous localities makes me think of an artist palette of southwestern paints...they're all lovely. =)

1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

They have more neck than a Kenyan Sand Boa. We have one of those, too.

Re: Rosy Boas: Which do you prefer?

Please note that I only listed the 4 basic sub-species of Rosy Boas. Most of the other ones people listed that I didn't include look almost exactly like one of the 4 I listed. Feel free to show me the differences if you don't believe me.

Yes, the Otay is very nice. I am actually headed to that area next weekend to look for rosys. Finding rosys in the wild is a real treat.

I'm sure you do like all of them, but I'm asking which one you would want to get if you only had one to choose from (like my case).

Re: Rosy Boas: Which do you prefer?

I voted for coastal. I had to, otherwise my coastal, Austin, would have his little snakey feelings hurt. We can't have that.
Actually I really like the looks of the Mexicos as well. We I bought Austin it was a choice between him and a Mexico, I held them both and while the Mexico was sweet, I felt an instant connection with Austin. He's my little darling!!
