Mine too
He is always burrowed under the aspen. Usually under his hide. I will lift it up and he won't be under either of them. Then we end up playing fine the boa nose lol.
I think its adorable too. My ball python will occasionally burrow, usually after I give him a mist and right before he sheds.

I love the pic of yours peeking out. Very cool.

Carmen's never burrowed but she loves her hides and hiding in general...even with a foot and a half of butt hanging out...
"You can't see me, I'm hiding!"
Sure, honey. No one is gonna notice your big fat high-contrast red and tan butt out there...

Thanks! I have enjoyed this site for sure. Been reading for a while. I have kept snakes but its been a while. In college I kept a lot of wild caught native species, mostly for my Herpatology collections but kept a kingsnake as a pet for several years until I went off to medical school. Thats been just a few years ago, 10 cough cough and now that I have two girls, 7 and 5, I thought its time to start introducing them to taking care of animals large and small. Sorry for the run on...
Anyway, I will post some pics of my little male in about a week. I am letting him settle in before I really get to messing with him too much. I will start my own thread to go on so I don't hijack this thread too much.
