The first rule of boa club is that we don't talk about boa club.
The second rule of boa club is that...we clean up lots of pee.
I think the last word is blood and I think you are talking about Fight Club.....

They'll slither right into your heart...no house is a home without a boa.

I can certainly agree with the second rule, but it's not that bad really if kept on a thick layer of aspen. They are very rewarding snakes

Jack, he's absolutely gorgeous! I can see why he spoke to you. Welcome to the wonderful world of owning an RTB! They very quickly steal your heart.
I love the feeding response of these types of snakes. They generally do exactly what you saw - incredibly fast, bull strong, very long strike range type of feeding. If a ball python refuses we don't generally worry immediately, but if one of the boa's won't eat....well that's an event to wonder about LOL.

No Worries Franky,
I did enough zoo work in the past to have cleaned up more then a few horse sized dump piles from boas, conda, burms and retics. It ain't that bad, have you ever cleaned up after a big cribo?
