    To make an albino?

Ok, I'd really really like an albino python, but the full blown albino females are a little much for me.

I have a normal male (1.0) right now, if I get a 100% Het albino female and breed her with my normal male what would I get?

%50 Het Albinos? Could I just keep breading them until I get 2 albinos, 1 male and one female? I'm kinda looking for an economical way to go about this.

Yea you could do it that was or just pick up a pair of Het albinos.

Well what happens if you get two %100 het albinos? Do they automatically make albinos, or is there just a really good chance?

    They make Albinos.

Each egg would have a 1:4 chance of being albinos

Hey that's not too bad at all. One more question if you don't mind.. If the babies that come from 2 100% het albinos don't turn out to be albino, what do they become? 100% hets still or %50 or something?

If you breed 2 hets together you will end up with 25% albinos, and the rest of the clutch will all be 66% chance het for albino. I would get the pair of hets if you are planning to get the female. Females take a long time to raise up and males are so cheap right now that most breeders will give you a free or heavily discounted male het if you buy a female.

You can get two hets for a lot cheaper than a female albino.

    Re: To make an albino?

You're totally right. I found some at rcreptiles for 350+50 for the male het. You know of anywhere else to go to find good prices? I've tried googling, and all the pages I get either are super expensive or half done web pages.

I won't buy from someone with a half done web site, if they don't care about the way you see them for the first time, I can only imagine how they keep their snakes.

I've never done business with them, but the Ball Boutique has '06 pairs for $450 and '07 pairs for $350.
